Brian Smith, President – Holding degrees in journalism and theology from Valparaiso University, Brian has been involved in publicity efforts for Christian recording artists for 25 years. During the first decade of his career, Brian held radio promotions and public relations positions at Calvary Music Group, Benson Music Group, and Sparrow Records. While at Sparrow, Brian worked on PR campaigns for Steven Curtis Chapman, BeBe & CeCe Winans, PFR, Charlie Daniels and Marty Raybon, among others. Brian resides in Spring Hill, Tennessee, and is actively involved at Christ Fellowship in Franklin.

Emily Kohl, Vice President – A graduate of the recording industry management program at Middle Tennessee State University, Emily held internships at Essential Records and Benson Music Group before joining Turning Point in 1997. A gifted writer, Emily is responsible for most of the press releases and copywriting done for the company’s roster, and also oversees campaigns for various Turning Point clients. She and her husband Steve, a professional photographer, reside in Nashville and attend West End Community Church.
